Two ways to compete
Writing Contest
The classic judged format. Contest creators set the theme, timeline, and judging method; participants each submit their own entry; judges score entries by an overall score or an optional rubric; winners are announced after judging closes.
Telephone
One shared story, passed writer to writer — each person continues where the last one left off. No judges or scoring: choose normal visibility (everyone reads the whole chain so far before their turn) or blind visibility (each writer only sees the entry right before theirs). When the chain closes, it publishes as one collaborative book crediting every contributor.
